Following a recent announcement by the EWGA with regard to the permitted use of Distance Measuring Devices (DMD) at club level, a new local rule shall be introduced with immediate effect.

• Individuals must confirm the use of DMDs at other courses by reference to the local rules pertaining to the particular club concerned.
• Use of DMDs will currently still not be permitted for Silver/Bronze matches (even those played at home).
• Use of DMDs will continue to be banned from use in all EWGA regional and national competitions
• If there is any doubt as to the use of these devices please consult a member of the Committee
