Membership Category - Eligibility to Play in Club Competitions

7  Day Membership

      Full Club Members entitled to play at any time 7 days a week on both courses.

      Entitled to play in all competitions during the week and weekends.

      Entitled to play for the club in all matches if selected.

      Entitled to play in all major competitions, knockout competitions, friendly and fun competitions.

      Entitled to play in the Winter League 4BBB competition.

 

      5 Day Membership

      Restricted Membership entitled to play at any time Monday to Friday on both courses.

      Entitled to play in all competitions during the week Monday – Friday,

      Entitled to play in any major competitions held during the week Monday – Friday.

      Entitled to play in any club matches, knockout competitions, friendly and fun competitions held

      during the week Monday – Friday.

      Entitled to play in the Winter League Individual competition during the week Monday – Friday.

      Not eligible to play in any major competitions (or matches) played at the weekend, except Lady

      Captain’s day by invitation only.

 

      Moorland Only Membership 7 & 5 Day

      As  7 and 5 day eligibility but only for competitions played on the Moorland course.

      Eligible for any major competitions played solely on the Moorland Course, according to 7 and 5

      Day membership.

      Eligible to play in club county or friendly matches played on the Moorland course.

      Not eligible to play in club knockout competitions during the summer months.

      Eligible to play in the Winter League competitions but only on the Moorland course.

 

      Decision

      Marjorie Hancock is a major competition played for at the weekend as the Medal, Stableford

      and Par Final for the season and therefore only Full members are entitled to play the final.

      The Committee agreed to hold an alternative final for 5 day members played on the nearest

      Wednesday on the same course
